# Reddit MCP Server

SocialToAI is a hosted MCP server that lets your AI read Reddit: search posts and read post details, comments, account profiles, an account's posts and the trending list. You add one address to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor; there is no Reddit account, login or cookie to provide and nothing to install. Each call costs 2 credits (from $0.004); failed calls are free. ## What it cannot do

- **Fields Reddit does not give**: They come back as null and are listed in the answer's unavailable, so your AI reads them as “not given”, not as zero. `author.name`, `author.verified`, `author.followers`, `metrics.likes`, `metrics.shares`, `metrics.collects`, `metrics.views`, `metrics.reposts`, `hashtags`, `followers`, `following`
- **It reads. It does not post.**: Your AI cannot post, comment, like, follow or send messages on Reddit through SocialToAI.
- **Only what is publicly visible**: Content and account information anyone can see on Reddit. Nothing behind a login: no private accounts, no direct messages, no feed of your own.
