# Telegram MCP Server

SocialToAI is a hosted MCP server that lets your AI read Telegram: read message details, account profiles and an account's messages. You add one address to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor; there is no Telegram account, login or cookie to provide and nothing to install. Each call costs 2 credits (from $0.004); failed calls are free. ## What it cannot do

- **No search, trending and comments on Telegram**: These actions are not offered on Telegram. A call answers that the action is not supported and costs nothing. `search`, `trending`, `comments`

## FAQ

**Does Telegram have an official API? Is this server official?**

Yes: Telegram's API is open to any developer with a Telegram account. This MCP server is run by SocialToAI; it is not the platform's own and is not affiliated with it. Source: core.telegram.org, checked 2026-10-30.

**Can Claude and ChatGPT use it?**

Yes. In Claude or ChatGPT, on the web or the desktop app, paste the address above as a custom connector, sign in with a code sent to your email and press Allow. Claude Code and Codex take one command and Cursor a short config, then the same sign-in; a tool that only takes headers uses a key.

**Do I need a Telegram account?**

No. No account of yours needed, your accounts stay out of it: no Telegram login, no cookie, nothing to install. It reads what is publicly visible on Telegram, and it cannot post.
