# Meta Ad Library API

The Meta Ad Library API lets you search ads by keyword, list an advertiser's ads, find advertisers and read one ad, with no Meta Ad Library account or login. Each call costs 2 credits ($0.004 to $0.0067); failed calls are free. Use it over HTTP with an API key, or through MCP from your AI client. Last tested 2026-10-17.

Meta Ad Library has none of the 6 shared actions (search, trending, detail, comments, user_profile and user_posts). Every interface here is called by its own op, through POST /v1/call/{op}.

Preview: this interface is not marked stable yet, so its parameters and fields may still change. It is charged like any other call, and a failed call is not charged.

## Official API

Meta offers the official Ad Library API for searching ads about social issues, elections or politics delivered anywhere, and any ads delivered in the UK and EU. Access requires a Facebook account, confirming your identity and location, and a Meta developer account with an app.
