WeChat Channels API
Videos, comments, accounts.
The WeChat Channels API lets you search videos and read video details, comments, account profiles and an account's videos, with no WeChat Channels account or login. Each call costs 12 credits ($0.024 to $0.04); failed calls are free. WeChat Channels does not give view counts, so that field is returned as null. Use it over HTTP with an API key, or through MCP from your AI client. Last tested 2026-10-17.

WeChat's developer documentation describes no API for reading public Channels posts: mini programs can open or embed Channels videos, and can read live-stream info only for Channels accounts under the same or an associated verified entity.
