Notes, comments, accounts, trends.
The Xiaohongshu (RedNote) API lets you search notes and read note details, comments, account profiles, an account's notes and the trending list, with no Xiaohongshu account or login. Each call costs 12 credits ($0.024 to $0.04); failed calls are free. Xiaohongshu does not give view counts, so that field is returned as null. Use it over HTTP with an API key, or through MCP from your AI client. Last tested 2026-11-05.

Does Xiaohongshu have an official API?
Xiaohongshu's open platform currently offers login only: after the app passes review, it can read the basic profile (nickname, avatar) of users who authorise it. No API for reading public notes or comments is documented.
