Can ChatGPT read WeChat Official Account articles?
Yes, once you connect it to an MCP server that reads WeChat Official Account articles, such as SocialToAI: paste one address, sign in and press Allow. On its own it gets little: the platform's robots.txt says `Disallow: /` to every fetcher, and it cannot search articles or read an account's history. Connected, it reads articles and comments, from 12 credits a call.

WeChat Official Account APIs let an account manage its own content: materials, drafts, publishing, comments and analytics. The documentation lists no interface for reading other accounts' articles.

Connect ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT on the web, open Plugins, press the plus button and choose Add custom MCP server.
- Name it SocialToAI. Under Connection, paste the address as the Server URL and choose OAuth; confirm the risk warning and select Create as a plugin.
- Install the plugin. When ChatGPT asks you to sign in, sign in to SocialToAI with the code we email you and press Allow.
- In a chat, type @, pick SocialToAI and ask.
