Monitor Reddit every day: keywords and subreddits

To be told about new Reddit posts on a keyword or in a subreddit, run the search once, then tell your AI “every morning”. A run is 2 credits, so a daily watch is at most 62 credits a month ($0.21), and the free credits cover 50 runs. New posts go to email, a group chat, RSS or a webhook. It uses no Reddit app and no account of yours.

Every morning, search Reddit for “acme” and “acme alternative” and email me the new posts, with links.

Run a Reddit search, then make it dailyOr just say it to your AINo account of yours needed, your accounts stay out of it · failed runs are free

First, run it once

See what comes back before you make anything daily. Ask your AI, or send the request. It costs 2 credits: Search.

Ask your AI
Search Reddit for “acme” and show me the newest posts with links.

Then say one sentence to your AI

Once SocialToAI is connected, say what to watch. Your AI first shows what will run, when, about what a run costs and at most what a month costs, and where new items go. It charges nothing for that, and makes the watch only after you agree.

Say this
Every morning, search Reddit for “acme” and “acme alternative” and email me the new posts, with links.
Or this
Every morning, read the newest posts of r/SaaS and post what is new to this Slack channel: <address>.

It works without an AI too: run the tool or the call on the website, then press the daily button. Everything else about a watch is in Schedules.

At most what it costs

What you watchA runA month, dailyA month, weeklyA daily month at the first packThe free credits cover
One keyword26210about $0.2150 runs
One subreddit26210about $0.2150 runs

Each run reads one page, usually 7 posts. On a busier keyword or subreddit, what fell off that page between runs is not read.

Where new items go

Pick one or several when you make the watch. What it can send is the same on every platform.

WhereHow to set itWhat arrives
EmailOn by default for a watch made in your AI or in the console. With a key, send email_new_items: true. How many are new, with their links.
Feishu / LarkAdd a custom bot to the group and give its address to your AI or to push_url. We post a test message first. The count, the first 5 links, what the run cost, a link to the console. No post text.
WeComThe same, with a group bot's address. The same.
SlackThe same, with an Incoming Webhooks address. The same.
RSS or JSON FeedEvery watch has one private address, on the Tasks page. Reading it is free.Links and dates. For 24 hours after a run also the title and the start of the text. Anyone with the address can read it.
WebhookAdd an endpoint in the console's settings. See Webhooks.schedule_run.finished after each run, and schedule.alert when its main number moves. Signed.
Your AI, when you askAsk “what's new?”. Nothing to set. What your watches found and you have not seen, for free.

What to know first

  • The first run is only the starting point. It notes what is there and sends nothing new, and it is charged like any run. New items start with the second run.
  • Daily or weekly, not real time. It runs at the time you choose, in your time zone.
  • A run with nothing new still costs a run: it read the page. A failed run costs nothing.
  • It stays under its limits. One run may cost at most what you set. The month's most is that limit times 31 for a daily watch and 5 for a weekly one; a run past either is skipped, free.
  • One free, then 20. A free account holds 1 watch, run from its free credits. When they no longer cover a run it pauses, charges nothing and emails you; any purchase starts it again. An account that has bought credits holds 20.
  • Reddit's own rules still apply. Commercial use of its content stays subject to its terms. Its RSS feeds stop on 2026-11-13: what changes, and how to swap a .rss address for a watch's feed.
